01
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, where you’ll be greeted by a warm welcome and private transfer to The Oberoi, New Delhi. Day 2: Leh
After breakfast, board your flight from Delhi to Leh. Welcome to Leh! A destination like no other, Leh is a traveler’s paradise—enchanting, hassle-free, and set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop. The town is adorned with ancient stupas and traditional mudbrick houses, while a dramatic rocky ridge, crowned by a majestic Tibetan-style palace and fort, adds to its timeless charm.
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, our driver will warmly greet you and transfer you to your hotel in a private car. After check-in, take the day to relax and acclimate to Leh’s high-altitude surroundings, as the town sits at over 3,000 meters above sea level. Enjoy a leisurely evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Leh
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour. Begin with Leh Palace, a 17th-century royal residence offering breathtaking views of Stok Kangri and the Ladakh mountain range. The palace’s ancient architecture and rich history make it a must-visit landmark. Next, visit Shey Palace & Monastery, built in 1665 by King Deldon Namgyal as a summer retreat. The monastery is home to a grand copper-gilded statue of a seated Shakyamuni Buddha, the second-largest in Ladakh.
Continue to Thiksey Monastery, a stunning example of Ladakhi architecture, perched on a hill 20 kilometers from Leh. Resembling Tibet’s Potala Palace, it is renowned for its intricate structures, prayer halls, and vibrant murals. Spend time soaking in the monastery’s peaceful ambiance before returning to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy a delightful dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4: Leh
After breakfast, set out for an enriching day of sightseeing in Leh. Begin with the Hall of Fame, a museum built by the Indian Army to honor the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Indo-Pak wars. Then, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a revered Sikh shrine built in 1517 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev’s visit to Ladakh. Continue to Magnetic Hill, where an optical illusion makes vehicles appear to roll uphill.
Next, head to Sangam, the stunning confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers, where you can enjoy breathtaking views or experience river rafting.Explore Alchi Monastery, built between 958 and 1055 CE, renowned for its intricate murals and Buddhist sculptures. Later, visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist monument offering panoramic views. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh - Nubra Valley
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. The valley, located 159 km from Leh, unfolds through a breathtaking route—Leh, Phyang, Khardung La, Khardung, Khalsar, Diskit, and finally, Nubra Valley. Along the way, pass through South Pullu and North Pullu, two Indian Army check-posts offering picturesque landscapes. The journey also takes you through charming villages where you can witness locals engaged in traditional farming.
Arrive in Nubra Valley by early evening, a serene haven for travelers seeking tranquility and cultural immersion with Ladakh’s tribal communities. The valley lies near Sasser Pass and Karakoram Pass, historically significant on the Silk Route. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Day 6: Nubra Valley
After breakfast, head out to explore Nubra Valley. Begin with a visit to Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra Valley. Its prime attraction is the 100-foot-high Maitreya Buddha statue, inaugurated by the Dalai Lama, offering a serene atmosphere and breathtaking views of the valley.Next, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, a mesmerizing desert landscape at 4,000 meters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Day 7: Pangong Lake

Stretching 134 km across India and China, this endorheic lake is known for its ever-changing shades of blue and its serene, untouched beauty. The journey offers mesmerizing landscapes, including rugged mountain passes and pristine valleys.
Arrive at Pangong Lake by late afternoon and check into your camp or cottage, offering spectacular views of the shimmering waters and surrounding peaks. The lake’s crystal-clear, salty waters appear most vibrant under the sun. Spend a relaxed evening strolling along the shore or enjoying a Yak safari. Day 8: Pangong Lake -Hemis Monastery- Leh
After breakfast, drive from Pangong Lake to Leh, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes along the way. En route, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastic institution in Ladakh, renowned for its rich collection of ancient artifacts. This revered monastery houses a magnificent copper Buddha statue, gold and silver stupas, sacred Thangkas, intricate murals, and other precious relics of Buddhist heritage.
